🌿 Wantage & Grove NHPT 🌿

🚔 Yesterday morning, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NHPT) were out on early patrols targeting hare coursing. During these patrols, we received reports of hare coursing activity in the Faringdon area.

On attendance, the NHPT located an abandoned vehicle believed to have been used by offenders. The vehicle was left stuck in the mud, causing serious damage to a freshly drilled field.

👉 Hare coursing is not only the cruel killing of innocent animals under the guise of “sport” — it also leaves farmers facing thousands of pounds in losses due to the destruction of their land.

Although our team got rather muddy during the incident, we remain committed to tackling this illegal activity, protecting wildlife, and supporting our rural communities.
